-Quotation: “We have to call it ‘freedom’: who’d want to die for ‘a lesser tyranny’?” ~Mignon McLaughlin The Neurotic’s Notebook p76
-Quotation: “Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.” ~Thoreau
-Quotation: “I think my government are fascists. I feel that if we don’t change from a society that worships money and power over to one that worships compassion and generosity, there is no hope for human survival this century.” ~Hunter (Patch) Adams (~0h:07:0s) Roda Viva {video on-line?} (Dr. Patch Adams – of the movie “Patch Adams” – played-by Robin Williams)

– A-HA! (take that, NPR!) I recently heard some of this show (coulda swore it was this show)http://www.npr.org/2015/01/16/377519199/disappearing-fear , and the speaker was saying something about how we shouldn’t be fearful, but then the next word out of his mouth was essentially proving himself wrong in that we bow-down to societal pressures [via fear]. So they’re going to make people not afraid of anything, and then the psychopaths & sociopaths at the helm of society are just gonna waltz-in & start destroying with impunity like in the movie “Demolition Man.”

– Now here’s an interesting snapshot:
Clyde Lewis {of no connection} – video default-image shows Clyde sitting in front of a computer [electromagnetic rays] apparently eating from a take-out container [probably laced with tons of teflon], and two different containers [of mind/body-corroding liquids]; yet he wonders why he’s feeling down?
Note that he doesn’t break-down until he brings his ego straight into the light, saying, I can’t believe this is happening to me on live tv.” Well no pressure or anything; right?
Or he’s being invaded; I just think those other things can only weaken him to start with.

– Found the book “Drive,” by David H. Pink. It was talking about some test monkees doing some puzzles just for the fun of it; just for “the performance of the task.” (The author was proffering that this is a distinct & important psychological function of motive.) I think what the monkees were doing was recognizing a built object & undoing it non-destructively. I am wondering if those monkees ever thought to re-construct, (reset), the puzzle.
