Do we make progress – ever? A: There is a scientific law, I believe, that states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. B: It seems to me that many times I’ve found that what I thought was going well, was just a small unbalanced view created by my small, encrusted ego; that great thoughts & great gains were not all that grand.
We came up with writing to put our thoughts on paper, and lost our prodigious memories. We created automatic wheeled mechanisms, and lost our powerful back & leg muscles.
What are we trying to accomplish? What are we really trying to prove? What have we really really created? Have we been merely chasing our vestigial tails? Is this how all these millenia we have actually been digging our way to hell?
Can we just accept what life has given us and be content?
Anyway; it is a fresh thought; with few connected yet.
